Now that the tulips and daffodils are blooming, I have been inspired to find more creative ways to display them in my home. I am a grower and not a floral designer, but this one was so simple and easy to put together. If I can do it, so can you. And I think it turned out pretty cute! With just a few materials, you can create this charming centerpiece to brighten up your table.
Materials Needed:
Two vases (one larger than the other)
Fresh tulips or other Spring flowers
Water
Marshmallow peep bunnies (or alternative decorations such as chocolate Easter eggs, plastic Easter eggs, jelly beans, Robin egg whoppers, carrots, asparagus, etc.)
I think the hardest part of this arrangement was finding two vases, one that would fit inside the other to act as the actual vase and the outer vase to hold the decoration, that were the right size to allow for the flowers and the decoration to go between the two (to create the layered effect).
I used what I had on hand and finally settled on two round vases. I filled the inner vase with water and set it gently inside the larger round vase. I then started to layer the two colors of marshmallow peep bunnies (pink on the bottom and yellow on top). Once the bunnies were in place, I cut the tulips to the desired length and placed them in the central vase. And voila, a cute and simple Spring centerpiece, perfect for Easter!
Whether you're hosting a family gathering or simply want to add a festive touch to your home, this simple DIY project is sure to impress! I hope this inspires you to make a cute and simple centerpiece of flowers for your table this year! Kids will love making this too!
